CSforALL is a central resource for those interested in K-12 computer science education. 

CSforALL’s mission is to make high-quality computer science an integral part of the educational experience of all K-12 students and teachers and to support student pathways to college and career success. We connect providers, schools and districts, funders, and researchers working toward providing quality CS education to every child in the United States. 

Computer Science for All is a bold initiative to empower all US students from kindergarten through high school to learn computer science (CS) and be equipped with the computational thinking skills they need to be creators in the digital economy, not just consumers, and to be active citizens in our technology-driven world. Our economy is rapidly shifting, and educators, policymakers, families, and business leaders increasingly recognize that CS is a “new basic” skill necessary for economic opportunity and social mobility.

CSforALL builds on efforts already being led by parents, teachers, school districts, states, and private sector leaders nationwide.

Every at risk situation and social issue that has challenged everyone of us in our day to day lives. Regardless to the structure that we live in we are all effected by the issues that plague our "hoods".

The Heal The Hood Foundation of Memphis’ purpose is to implement and find creative methods to provide educational, cultural, and social economic and community change in the city of Memphis and surrounding areas that are heavily populated by youth crime, violence and other social deviant patterns of behaviors through multi-media science.

CodeCrew directly addresses the diversity and access gap in tech. We offer educational opportunities that 1) teach children and adults to code while mentoring them toward careers in tech fields and 2) provide educators with the tools to increase computer science knowledge for all students. We are introducing an entire generation to the 21st-century skills foundational to individual success.

Our tech education programs do not just teach students how to write code or produce software applications. Our programs enable analytical thinking, encouraging students to focus on big-picture outcomes and detail-level execution while allowing them to develop their leadership skills and take ownership of their decisions. Computer Science training teaches students to take pride in what they do, to accept feedback and peer criticism, and be excited about sharing their work with the world.  High levels of quality computer science education will transform students into highly paid employees and entrepreneurs, as well as highly effective citizens.  Memphis is finally positioned to become a significant pipeline of African American and Latino tech talent for the future.  But we must continue our efforts. Your gift powers our work.
