Nourishing Food for Thought is the educational arm of the Jupiter Creamery, a small dairy farm set on 10 acres in South Florida. Suzie Dudas, the owner of the farm, dedicates her life to “empowering the community through interactive sustainable farming, nutritional culinary education, and outdoor activities for holistic well-being.” Visitors to the farm can learn to milk cows, tend to chickens and feed pigs. They learn where their food comes from and how to care for the land that supports us all. Children and their families can take art and cheese-making classes in the barn, or they can just meander past the Sago palms towards the pond and learn about the plants and animals that nourish them. Suzie cares for her world in the most inspiring way, and she is a natural educator. Most people never have the opportunity to learn about food and farming first hand, so Nourishing Food for Thought is a true gift to the community. Not a minute of easy work, but so worthwhile for us all.

- **Nonprofit Support & Innovation**: Strengthening connections between nonprofits. Last year, we worked with over 2,000 nonprofit professionals to foster a more collaborative community.
- **Volunteerism**: Providing year-round opportunities to give back. Last year, we connected more than 2,800 volunteers to 330 local projects.
- **United for Working Families**: Helping workplaces offer family-friendly benefits. Last year, we engaged 300 stakeholders from 40 companies to address workplace challenges for families.
- **Public Policy Advocacy**: Championing policies that benefit children and families at the local, state, and federal levels.

The Morgan Adams Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on medical research. It is based in Denver, CO. It received its nonprofit status in 2004.

The Morgan Adams Foundation funds kids’ cancer research. We raise awareness of, and educate our communities about, the need for pediatric and young adult specific cancer treatments.

Working with leading researchers and physicians, we fund new and innovative ideas that will improve cancer treatment effectiveness, overall outcomes, survival rates and quality of life while minimizing the devastating side effects current treatments have on our children.

Our particular interest is to provide seed and bridge grants for viable investigations not yet ripe enough for total funding by larger organizations. Additionally, we are able to partially fund translational studies, experimental therapeutics studies, and/or Phase I and II clinical trials on a case-by-case basis.

We increasingly seek projects that are highly collaborative and/or multi-institutional in nature. Our hope is that we can facilitate, through strategic funding, more rapid clinical trial development to get the best possible treatment options into circulation as expediently as possible.

Through careful consideration and placement of our funding, we encourage and support research intended to improve treatment effectiveness, treatment outcomes, and the quality of life for children battling cancer.
