The Giraffe Project is a United Kingdom charity providing educational opportunities for children and young people from extremely deprived areas of Nairobi. The Giraffe Project works closely with primary schools in and around the Kenyan slums and also provides support for teenager s to finish their studies in boarding schools outside. Graduates from secondary schools are often offered places in national universities and vocational training colleges. All the schools are managed and run by local people.
