Diabetes affects millions of families worldwide, including mine. JDRF is the leader in the fight against type 1 diabetes, doing vital work in areas of medical research, policy reform and support.

The Audre Lorde Project is an essential community center and organization advocating for social justice for POC within the LGBTQ+/LGBTSTGNC community. I stand as an ally and urge  you to donate too!  

The Center is a vital resource for the LGBTQ+ community and has been for decades.

When I lived in the U.S., I volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, swinging a hammer to help build homes for those in need. Habitat is a wonderful organization that builds community as well as housing.

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center (The Center) was established in 1983 at the height of the AIDS crisis to provide a safe and affirming place for LGBTQ+ New Yorkers to respond to the urgent threats facing the community. The Center promises to grow and meet the changing needs of New York’s LGBTQ+ community, delivering services that empower people to lead healthy, successful lives.
