Healthcare Corporations are no longer putting the patients at the center of care. They are willing to let patients die, instead of staffing safely. These systems will tell you that there is a nursing/staff shortage which is why staffing is so poor. I can attest that I have seen hospitals and facilities send staff home because they did not want to pay the overtime. They send nurses and other healthcare staff home even when they have patients in their facilities that need the staff, and the staff member is WILLING to work.
