GirlTREK is one million Black women walking to heal our bodies, inspire our daughters and reclaim our neighborhoods. 


GirlTREK began with a simple but life-saving promise between two friends: to walk their way to better health and inspire others to do the same; and it is now a grassroots movement powered by everyday women. We are the women we serve. Now, GirlTrek is mobilizing this constituency for its boldest mission yet: a Care Crusade to extend Black women’s life expectancy by 10 years in a decade. These bold campaigns—scaling to 5 million members, establishing community wellness hubs “Care Villages”, training a Blue Brigade of health responders, and advancing policies to dismantle systemic barriers—will build lasting systems of care and inspire future generations.

Health In Harmony is an international nonprofit dedicated to reversing global heating, understanding that rainforests are essential for the survival of humanity. Using the innovative process of Radical Listening, we collaborate with the experts – rainforest communities – to create the change the planet needs. We do not wait for others to act but hold ourselves accountable for the planet’s future. Humanity must halve atmospheric carbon by 2030, and we are committed to making a significant impact on this drawdown. In order to scale, our work is deeply rooted in monitoring, data, and evaluation. A study on our innovative model was published by The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

charity: water is a non-profit bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. 

Since we began in 2006, we've funded more than 121,314 water projects in 29 countries. When complete, these projects will provide clean, safe drinking water for more than 16.9 million people.

Nearly 771 million people in our world don’t have access to clean drinking water. Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of diseases and kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war.

The good news: there are simple solutions, from deep drilled wells to water filtration systems. And with the help of 1,000,000+ donors and individual fundraisers, we're forming a strong force against the water crisis.
