The Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation works to continue the mindful teachings and loving practice of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh (Thay).

The Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation acts as a conduit between our mindful community (Sangha) and the continuation of Thay’s mindful teachings and loving practice. We work mindfully to continue the work of Thich Nhat Hanh, support our practice centers around the world, and engage in Sangha building in order to foster peace and transform suffering in all people, animals, plants and our planet.  The Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation is a division of the Unified Buddhist Church, Inc. (UBC). The Unified Buddhist Church, Inc. is a U.S. nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is a private international association founded in 1971. The association is made up mainly of doctors and health sector workers and is also open to other professions which might help in achieving its aims.
