There are three heart rhythm disorders related to failures in the electrical activity of the heart: atrial fibrillation, ventricular fibrillation and heart failure. These diseases affect millions of people worldwide, either chronically or acutely, or even immediately and fatally. Regardless of your age, you can be affected. As can your loved ones. Heart rhythm disorders cause each year: 
 20 % of strokes in the world 
 325,000 sudden cardiac deaths in the United States, 90% of which are fatal 
 1M hospitalizations for heart failure in the United States
