**Foreign Aid Bridge Fund**

As a result of the U.S. foreign aid freeze, many of the world's highest-impact, frontline organizations have had to temporarily pause operations or reduce services to millions of people around the world. [Unlock Aid](https://www.unlockaid.org/), in collaboration with a number of partners, is raising an emergency fund to enable high-impact organizations get back to work to prevent unnecessary harm and disruption to millions of people.

Contributions of any amount will make an enormous difference as well as help us to catalyze even greater resources for affected organizations.

The Foreign Aid Bridge Fund

ALLFED aims to increase the resilience of the world's food systems to global catastrophic food shocks.

The mission of Alliance to Feed the Earth in Disasters (ALLFED) is to help build resilience to global catastrophic food system failure.

ALLFED seeks to provide practical, affordable, and resilient food solutions so that, in the event of a global catastrophe, governments, industry, and communities can respond quickly and distribute food equitably, saving lives and promoting the continuation of global cooperation.

However, ALLFED currently faces a major funding gap: **Without new funding, we will need to cut half of our budget by June 2025**. This will mean significantly scaling down our programs, including our research output, and the ability to support governments in preparing for global food system shocks.

We focus on events, such as large volcanic eruptions, pandemics, and cyberattacks, which could deplete 5% or more of global calorie output, or access to those calories. In such events, the loss of food would likely kill far more people than the catastrophe itself directly.

“Resilient food solutions'' are what ALLFED calls the foods, technologies, and systems that could help everyone survive global catastrophic food failure. ALLFED’s ultimate goal is to feed everyone, no matter what.
